UI / UX Lead

We are seeking a talented UI / UX Lead to join our Product department at Synapse Analytics. 

As the UI / UX Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of user interfaces and user experiences for our products.

Your primary focus will be to create intuitive and visually appealing designs that enhance user interaction and satisfaction. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand user needs, conduct user research, and translate insights into innovative design solutions.

• Lead the UI / UX design process from concept to implementation.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to create cohesive design solutions.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UI / UX design.
• Work and advise frontend engineers on implementation of developed designs.
• Mentor and guide junior designers to foster a culture of creativity and excellence.

• Bachelor's degree in Design or related field, providing a solid foundation in design theory, research methodologies, and practical skills necessary for the role.
• Portfolio showcasing successful UI/UX projects, highlighting your design process, problem-solving abilities, and the impact of your work on user experience and business outcomes.
• Proven experience leading UI/UX design projects, demonstrating the ability to oversee the end-to-end design process and deliver high-quality solutions that meet user needs and business goals.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, with the capability to empathize with users, conduct user research, and translate insights into intuitive and engaging design solutions.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, enabling the creation of visually appealing designs, interactive prototypes, and user-friendly interfaces.
• Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that effectively communicate design concepts and interactions, facilitating collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing to validate design decisions, iterate on solutions, and continuously improve the user experience based on feedback and data-driven insights.
• Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills, fostering productive relationships with team members, clients, and partners to drive consensus, gather feedback, and align on design direction.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously, adapting to changing priorities, and delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of current design trends and best practices, staying informed about industry developments, emerging technologies, and innovative design approaches to enhance the quality and relevance of design solutions.
• Experience in using React is a plus.
