Engineering Manager

We are excited to announce an opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our innovative team at Synapse Analytics.

As a key member of our Product department, you will play a crucial role in leading a talented group of engineers to drive innovation and deliver cutting-edge products to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Support, coach and develop skilled engineers  through their career with regular 1:1s and continuous feedback.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Quality Assurance, to ensure the success of our products in the market
• Drive technical excellence and promote best practices within the engineering team to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency
• Contribute to the development of the product roadmap and strategy by providing valuable insights and technical expertise
• Lead and Advocate for better development practices (CI, testing, operational efficiency, etc.)
• Work closely with the recruitment team to hire and onboard engineers

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a solid foundation in software development principles and practices.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in software engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing engineering teams, including setting goals, providing feedback, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Strong technical background with proficiency in relevant technologies such as Python, Javascript, and cloud computing platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality products on time, with a focus on meeting customer requirements and ensuring product scalability and reliability.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and quality assurance, to drive product innovation and success.
• Experience in Agile methodologies and project management, with a deep understanding of Scrum.
