Data Annotator at Synapse Analytics

Synapse Analytics is seeking a Data Annotator to join our Engineering department. As a Data Annotator, you will play a crucial role in annotating text and images in English and Arabic, among other responsibilities.

• Annotate text and images in English and Arabic to support various AI projects

• Ensure accuracy and consistency in data annotation

• Collaborate with the engineering team to improve data annotation processes

• Contribute to the development of high-quality training datasets

• Meet product milestones and contribute to product planning

• Ability to accurately label data in English and Arabic.

• Proficient in Windows OS and Microsoft Excel/Word.

• Willingness to provide feedback on the annotation process and collaborate with product owners.

• Commitment to performing self-checks to ensure high data quality and meet project timelines.

• Ability to follow detailed annotation guidelines and instructions.

• Understanding of data privacy and confidentiality principles.

• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and remotely.

• Experience with data labeling tools is a plus (e.g., Labelbox, Labelme, LabelImg, CVAT, ..etc).

• Basic understanding of machine learning & computer vision concepts and data pipelines is a plus.

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
